Why Your Business Needs a Newsletter

To build a business – ANY business – you need to build relationships with your customers and potential customers. One effective method to do this is through weekly, bi-weekly or monthly newsletters. Unlike the newsletters that big retailers send announcing the latest sales and specials, your newsletter should be more personal.

It should include:

  • A personal message or greeting from you
  • A picture of you
  • An article providing value to your reader. This article can tie into why using your product or service would be beneficial to them, but ideally should not be a sales pitch.
  • An offer of some type – a discount, free consultation, gift for referrals,etc.
  • If possible have a testimonial or two from satisfied customers.
